If you have strips of Christmas fabric – or just any old fabric, you can cut and glue them onto your old ornaments and cover up any imperfections. Create a theme with your fabric and you can make the ornaments look as if they were quilted together. This requires a bit of work with regards to measuring and cutting the fabric but you can do it with absolutely no sewing involved.

If your ornaments are beginning to fade or you simply don’t like the color anymore, you can just paint them. Glass ornaments hold new paint very well. Just choose the color that you want and then paint it however you prefer. You can add ribbons, fabric or anything else to the top to embellish them and even get a bit creative and paint different colors on the same ornament.

Glitter is a great way to dress up those boring ornaments and to make old ornaments look new again. Just use spray adhesive to keep the glitter in place. If you are planning to change the color of the ornaments, paint them and then add glitter while the paint is still wet so that it will stick.
