Get Soft, Smooth, Clear Skin Fast With This Simple DIY Facemask Recipe!

July 14, 2017 By Vanessa Beaty 1 Comment

When I was a teenager, I had horrible acne. Everyone told me, “Don’t worry, it will clear up when you’re older!” Well, guess what? I’m an adult with horrible acne now. Nothing improved. It actually got worse.

Get Soft, Smooth, Clear Skin Fast With This Simple DIY Facemask Recipe! So I am always trying out new products, but most of the creams and ointments and such I’ve bought have been overpriced—and they under-delivered.

What has had results for me are the natural facemasks I’ve learned to make at home; you can view a list of some great ones here, and two of my favorites here.

I was watching WhatsUpMoms on YouTube the other week and I just learned a brand new facemask recipe which is ridiculously easy to make and peel off. My skin feels so soft and smooth afterward, and I’ve noticed my acne has been a lot less crazy since I started doing this. Check it out:

Here are the ingredients you need:

Gelatine
Agar powder
Lemon juice
Manuka (or regular) honey
Tea tree oil
Vitamin E oil
Lavender and peppermint essential oil

Once you combine the ingredients and paint them onto your face in a thin layer, they solidify, which means that you can remove them by simply peeling them right off! How cool is that? I’ve never had such an easy clean-up after applying a DIY facemask before. And like I said, it makes your skin feel satin-smooth and soft, and it has done wonders for my acne.

Give it a try, and remember to make sure you only use unprocessed natural honey. Don’t overdo it with the essential oils either; they need to be safely diluted to use directly on your skin! You are going to love the results!
