Turn an Old Dresser Into a Fabulous TV Stand

If you have an old dresser that you are not using or if you find one at a yard sale this summer, you can easily turn it into a TV console. This is a great project that is easy and very inexpensive. You just have to remove the drawers, refinish the dresser, and then add a few small pieces of wood to make the top shelves even. The top shelves are made where the top drawers of the dresser were. What you end up with is a great console that will hold the TV on top with open shelves for your satellite, DVD, or Blu-Ray player, or any other media device that you want, and drawers to hold movies or other items.
