How to Make These Easy DIY Fairy Houses From Empty Toilet Paper Rolls

How to Make These Easy DIY Fairy Houses From Empty Toilet Paper Rolls {Cute project}You probably already know from reading my posts that I love everything to do with fairies. It was an obsession when I was growing up, and now my daughter has caught the pixie dust bug and wants fairy stuff all over her bedroom. That’s why I am always looking for cute fairy crafts we can make together, like these magical DIY fairy lanterns, or fairy house lawn ornaments.

I was on Etsy when I spied some truly amazing felted fairy lamps. These are something I would like to figure out how to make at some point. In the meantime though, I found another really awesome project on YouTube to make something similar—cute paper fairy houses.

Amazingly enough, these little fairy homes start out as toilet paper tubes. By the time they are finished, they look nothing like them. Well, you can guess from the dimensions and the general shape, but that is about it—the way they are decorated they look absolutely adorable. I love the pastel hues she uses.

This is an easy project to follow. There are no verbal instructions, but you do not really need them. This is also something easiest enough that your child can work on it with you—plus it has the appeal of being totally customizable. I just know my daughter will have a ball choosing different colors and patterns to decorate her little fairy homes with. This is going to be a magically fun project. If you try it, be sure to let me know how it goes!

Again big props to Etsy user FeltedArtToWear (She sells amazing handcrafted items check out her shop) for giving me the idea of doing fairy houses! This is purely her creation that's for sale on Etsy! P.S. thankyou15 coupon code will get you 15% off until October 15!
