Kids Will Love This Safe and Easy Homemade Slime Recipe!

Kids Will Love This Safe and Easy Homemade Slime Recipe!

Remember playing with slime when you were a kid? Of course, the slime that you buy at the store has a few chemicals in it that you may not want your kids exposed to. A better way is to make your own homemade slime and we have a really easy recipe for you to do just that.

You will need 1 cup of cornstarch and about a cup of water. Mix the two together, preferably in a stainless steel bowl, until you get a doughy mixture. You can add cornstarch or water as needed to ensure that you are getting the right consistency.

Once you get the slime however thick or thin you want it, just add green food coloring – or you can make it whatever color you want! This is a much more natural approach to slime and it feels just like the stuff that you find in the store. Kids (and even adults) will love it! Photo Funkyplanet.

If you want a good slime just mix some laundry detergent and glue together and it lasts for a long time ???

It didn’t work for me, either. It was liquid when touched and solid if squeezed. I used more cornstarch than water.

It is supposed to be squishy when you just touch it and hard when you squeeze it(:

I think I know hot=w to answer all your questions. I have made a lot of slime before. There are certain recipes that will last longer than other (not including borax) If you use glue,a pinch of baking soda, and contact lens solution it will form. That happens to be the best method. It will stay for a very long time if you store well like an airtight container. Hope this helped 🙂
