Exciting New Trend: Metallic Epoxy Floor gives You Glossy Elegance

Exciting New Trend: Metallic Epoxy Floor gives You Glossy Elegance! There’s a new trend in the interior flooring world that’s growing in popularity, and I feel it’s my duty to keep you in the know with all things new and gorgeous. Basically, this epoxy liquid polymer is a coating that you can apply to your floor to achieve a luxuriously glossy and metallic look. It’s a lot of fun to play around with because you can mix different colors for a gradient, swirled, marbled, or even 3D look that perfectly matches the interior of your home.

Video:

Thankfully, getting this installed isn’t actually such a difficult task; as you can see in the video, all you really do is pour the solution all over the floor of your choosing and then smear it evenly across the surface. This is best applied to a concrete floor; if you have tiles with grouting then those lines will shine through, so a layer of self-levelling concrete may need to be applied first. There is also a  specific type of epoxy that can be used on wooden floors so that it can actually move and flex with the wood, so don’t let they original flooring material stop you from having this incredibly alluring, pearlescent look in your home.

What do you think? Could your home benefit from this regal-looking floor makeover? I’m certainly considering it!
