Baking soda is great. Not only is it very inexpensive and available nearly everywhere you shop, you can clean so many things with it. Baking soda is a natural abrasive so when you need to really scrub something, you get that great abrasive quality without worrying over what chemicals you are using to clean. This is important when you are cleaning dishes and what not.

Baking soda is also great for whitening. Remember when you use to brush your teeth with baking soda because you ran out of toothpaste? This is because of the great whitening properties. You can clean virtually anything with this stuff from crayon marks on the wall and your teeth to the kitchen drain. Baking soda is also a great deodorizer so you can use it in the trash, litter box or anywhere you need to get rid of foul smells.

You can learn about other uses for baking soda by watching the video. We bet you’ll run out and grab an extra box or two if you don’t already have some around the house. I bet you know Melissa’s website if not make sure to subscribe shes beautifun. 🙂
