I’ve talked about organizing with binders, but one office supply I haven’t talked about is binder clips. And you know why? Unlike a lot of office supplies, I honestly thought that binder clips were essentially useless. Aside from their intended use, I never knew what to do with them. So they just sat around in their box, taking up space.
It turned out I couldn’t have been more wrong about binder clips. They actually have a lot of great uses around the home and office, and some of them are really surprising! Check out this video. I guarantee you will never see binder clips the same way again.

All of these are pretty genius. None of these are gimmicky hacks either; all of these are genuinely useful. My absolute favorite, though, is around halfway through the video. He attaches two binder clips to a business card and lays the card down flat. He then sets an iPhone or something in that area in the middle between the clips. It turns out that this works perfectly as a stand for his mobile device. It’s cheap, it’s easy, and it’s portable. What a great idea for trips.
