Most of us were taught to roll up our socks one inside the other when we put away our laundry. It’s a fast and easy method, and anything that saves time is good, right?
But rolling up socks doesn’t save space. My sock drawer is usually a total mess thanks to this technique.
But I just ran into this really cool video that taught me a new way to put away my socks. Instead of rolling them, you fold them together.

It takes a bit of practice to get this technique now, but I’m actually getting pretty fast at it! I love it because it makes my socks so much more compact than rolling them does, which saves space in my drawers and keeps everything neat and easy to find. It also seems to prevent socks from getting lost. What a cool discovery. Give it a try, and enjoy all the new room you free up in your sock drawer!
