Have you ever stared at your house from an outside perspective and felt as if something was missing? Maybe you just need something more of an entrance to draw the eye in – it doesn’t have to be anything grand, but just something that frames the entrance or driveway. To me, plants are always the answer, so I’ve found this very helpful and thorough tutorial for building your very own stone planter.

If you have a good six hours to spend per day, you could get this all done over three days, so it’s the perfect weekend project. The digging and stacking are quite arduous tasks, so I definitely recommend that you rope in a strong friend to help you out.
