Top 16 Most Creative DIY Halloween Hairstyles

September 25, 2014 By Vanessa Beaty 2 Comments

Halloween is one of those awesome holidays where you get to feel like a kid again: you get to dress up in outrageous, terrifying or funny costumes and indulge your sweet tooth (let’s face it, we always buy more candy than we need for the trick-or-treaters just so that we get to gorge ourselves on the leftovers).

Generally, when it comes to dressing up, there are two types of Halloweeners: those who go all out and those who prefer a more subtle approach. Of course, there are also those who just don’t do anything at all, but in our eyes, they don’t even count. We’ve managed to find some of the best Halloween hairstyles to suit both types of people; the all outers get to top off their crazy costumes (like delicate chocolate sprinkles atop a delicious sundae) while the more conservative or reserved can simply keep their clothing neutral and rely on the funky hairdo to make a big enough statement (trust us, any of these will make a statement!). And don’t forget about the kids; your little girl will just love getting in the spirit with an elaborate Halloween hairdo for school.

These innovative head adornments and accessories are surprisingly creative and impressive! Whether it’s a DIY spider sitting on the back of your head, a skeleton wrapped in hair or even hair pumpkins, all these styles are sure to turn heads and set the Halloween mood. Now just make sure you have enough hairspray and bobby pins to keep everything in place, and let your inner hairstylist come out for some howling Halloween fun.

It would have been really a nice treat if they would have showed hairstyles for short hair and not just for kiddies!
