How to Build This Rustic DIY Glow in the Dark Pallet Coffee Table

Modified: Sep 17, 2018 by Vanessa Beaty · This post may contain affiliate links · 1 Comment

You can’t take two steps on Pinterest these days without running into a wood pallet table tutorial, and that is for good reason. Wood pallets are cheap (often free), absurdly versatile, and very easy to assemble into tables, desks, and all manner of other furniture. There is a reason we feature wood pallet projects regularly on our site, like this coffee table or these outdoor projects.

How to Build This Rustic DIY Glow in the Dark Pallet Coffee TableBut most wood pallet furniture comes out with the same basic rustic look. Not like I’m complaining—I love that homespun style as much as the next person. But wouldn’t it be cool to see something completely different for once?

Well, I found it. I’m so blown away by it that I’ve watched the video twice:

IT GLOWS IN THE DARK.

This gives it something of a cool contemporary vibe even while it retains the rustic character of the original wood pallet. Those are two styles you wouldn’t think would go well together, but the result here works.

Just imagine how stunning this glow-in-the-dark beauty would look if you set it up in your home bar and lounge, or in your living room. It would add so much character to the room, giving it a really chilled-out ambiance. This project does look a little more challenging than most, but it seems like one you could modify if you needed to. It’s awesome seeing something truly unique and original. I hope you enjoyed watching this stunning table come together as much as I did!
