Stunning Braided Updo Style - Princess Braid Updo Hairstyle Video Tutorial

If you have medium to long hair and you are looking for a beautiful way to style it for special occasions, this princess braid updo is fabulous. It’s also really easy and looks great. It’s perfect for evenings out or just any time you need your hair pinned up but want something a bit more detailed than a traditional pony.

The gist is to make two braids, sort of like french braids, and then join them together at the back of your head. You start by dividing your hair evenly in back so that you have the same amount on both sides. Begin braiding on one side with a regular three strand braid and then begin adding hair to the bottom strand. If you know how to french braid then this will be a breeze.

Once you have the first side braided, do the same with the other side. Then you just have to pull the braids toward each other, one at a time. You can secure them with bobby pins that you can hide in the braids or if you want to add a little style, use clips that show. This is a great style no matter what your hair color and is so easy that you can do it in just a few minutes.
