Easy Homemade DIY Treatment to Reduce Eye Puffiness

Eye puffiness – isn’t that just the worst? I mean, no matter what you do, no matter how much sleep you get each night, you still wake up with puffy eyes. While there are things on the market that claim to be able to help with eye puffiness, most of them are either useless or so expensive that the average working girl just can’t afford them, right?

There is an easy DIY home remedy way to reduce those puffy eyes. You just need a raw potato and a bit of moisturizer – note that you need to use a moisturizer that does not contain urea so read your ingredients carefully before you try this.

You will need to peel the potato and grate about 2 teaspoons into a bowl. Add 1 teaspoon of moisturizer, mix very well and then apply the treatment to your eyes. Cover your eyes with a cool, damp cloth or some gauze (this is the best part – it’s very relaxing) and leave for about 15 minutes. The potassium in the potato helps to reduce swelling and it makes your eyes feel wonderful and rejuvenated!
