Quick, Healthy, Natural Pancakes from Just Two Ingredients!

May 15, 2015 By Elisabeth Kruger Leave a Comment

Quick, Healthy, Natural Pancakes from Just Two Ingredients! So who doesn’t love pancakes? We all do, right? But with all that flour and sugar they’re pretty unhealthy. Instead of ditching pancakes entirely and only dreaming of eating the deliciously fluffy discs, I’ve found this healthier alternative so that you don’t have to keep missing out. With just two ingredients, this recipe is flourless, sugar-free and gluten-free; you just need two ingredients: two eggs and one banana. That’s it!

Video Instructions:

The banana gives you a nice creamy texture, great taste and a bit of sweetness without the added sugar. And because of the miniscule ingredients list, this batch has less than 250 calories and 14 grams of protein, thus making it the perfect snack for those of you who are working out, keeping fit and trying to stay healthy.

This recipe acts a great basic template – you can get creative and add a little bit of this or that to make it taste even better for yourself. Some cinnamon in the mixture, for example is what I added, some berries on top will give you that yummy freshness, some rolled oats in the batter turns this into the perfect breakfast, and if you really are desperate for more sweetness, just a touch of honey. Just keep it healthy.
