Sublime Sandwich Glory: How to Make the Inside and Out Grilled Cheese Sandwich

February 19, 2015 By Elisabeth Kruger Leave a Comment

Sublime Sandwich Glory: How to Make the Inside and Out Grilled Cheese SandwichI am a lover of classics, and that love translates to every aspect of my life: books, plays, movies, music, and… food. When I’m really hungry and want something quick but don’t feel like cooking up a storm, I always revert to the good old reliable grilled cheese sandwich, or toastie, for you Brits. Now, due to my devout passion for classics, I’m not much of a fan of remakes or modernized versions; they’re classics for a reason! But when I saw this recipe for the ultimate upscaled grilled cheese, I’m not ashamed to admit that I had to eat my words.

Video Instructions:

A good sharp, melted cheese hugged lovingly by two slices of crunchy, toasted bread is what makes this meal such a popular standard, but what if you could add crispy cheese to the outside of the bread, too? You get heaven on a plate, seriously. There is absolutely no way that anyone could watch this video without rushing off to the kitchen straight afterwards to get in on the cheesy goodness.

Sometimes, simple really is superior.
