Father’s Day is just around the corner and you may be wondering what you are going to do for Dad’s special dinner. Well, do we have the collection for you.

We have found 15 of the manliest, most man-pleasing dinner recipes that you can easily prepare for Dad’s special day. Many of them can be created in just half an hour or so and since it’s for Dad, we have of course added a few grilling recipes that he is sure to love.

All of the recipes are meat-heart and sure to please even the pickiest Dad’s appetite. There’s everything from meatloaf to pork chops and seafood. Of course, no Father’s Day recipe collection would be complete without some buffalo sauce and a few grilled steaks, so they’re in there too.

Roasted Buffalo Shrimp

Beef and beer – what could be better for Father’s Day? This is an amazing chili recipe that contains all of those traditional ingredients plus a little beer for added flavor. If you’re worried about the alcohol, it will cook out and you’ll just be left with a wonderful flavor that melds perfectly with chili. This is a thick chili and it’s perfect for later dinners. Serve it with crackers and cheese, cornbread or make some great fajitas to go along with it. Dad can enjoy a can of his favorite beer with it as well or it pairs wonderfully with a dark red wine.

Skillet Pot Roast with Cherries

Dark sweet cherries give this traditional pot roast a bit of a twist. The great thing about this recipe is you can practically create your entire meal in the one skillet. It’s got mashed potatoes, mushrooms, red peppers and loads of other ingredients that give it a wonderful flavor. This would be great served with a side salad, since the potatoes are already in there, and some dinner rolls. It’s a relatively easy recipe that only takes 30 minutes to prepare so you can enjoy your day without worrying about cooking all afternoon.

Smothered Slow Cooker Pork Chops

Ok, so you want an easy recipe that gives you plenty of time outside the kitchen, right? Well, this one has pork chops and bacon and it’s made in the crock pot. Dad is sure to love the smothered chops and you’ll love the time that you save making them. The chops are browned and then added to the slow cooker to simmer for 8 hours or if you are in a time pinch, you can cook them on high for 4 hours. Either way, they will literally melt in Dad’s mouth and they serve well with any kind of potatoes or other side.

Glazed Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf

Bacon and meatloaf? Absolutely and this is sure to become one of Dad’s favorite meals. The bacon cooks up perfectly and turns wonderfully crisp while the meatloaf bakes. Plus, bacon is great as a flavor additive and it will help to trap in juices so your meatloaf will be juicy and delicious. As a great twist, glaze it with chili sauce instead of ketchup. It will give the meatloaf a little extra kick that Dad is sure to love. You can serve with traditional meatloaf sides like mashed potatoes and homemade biscuits.
