SUPPLIES NEEDED: – Pinecones – Bottle for spraying – Spoon – Zip bag – 1 tsp vanilla extract – ¼ cup water – 2 tsp cinnamon oil
TIME TO MAKE: 15 minutes
Meanwhile you can prepare the vanilla cinnamon scent. Take a small spraying bottle and pour ¼ cup water, 2 tsp cinnamon oil and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix them well by shaking the bottle.
Take a baking sheet and cover it with baking paper. Place the pinecones inside and bake them in the oven for 30 minutes at 150°C to kill any bacteria or bugs. Leave them aside to cool completely.
Place the pinecones in a zip bag and leave them so stay for a few hours or overnight to absorb the scent. If you feel there is more scent needed just add some more in the bag.
Spray the pinecones, taking care to get the oil mixture into all of the crevasses and crannies.
Place them in a big bowl to decorate your table and enjoy the smell.
