SUPPLIES NEEDED:  Plastic bottle Red spray paint Craft knife Scissors Soldering iron

TIME TO MAKE:  40 minutes

Then, use a ruler to draw lines every 1/2" connecting the top and the bottom.

Draw a line around the top and bottom, just where the curves begin.

Use scissors to cut through from top to bottom leaving the strips attached.

At the top of each line, make a slit with the craft knife, below the line around the bottle, just the line going downward.

Bend the bottle over and tuck the top lid/neck end into the middle and thread through the hole in the bottom.

Make a hole in the bottom of the bottle large enough for the neck of the bottle.

Then spray paint the planter and let dry.

Arrange so the strips are all around the outside in a globe, then screw the lid onto the neck poked through the hole in the base.

This planter is ideal for real or fake plants, and can be customized for holiday themes or your own home colors and design theme.
