STEP BY STEP FURNITURE DISTRESSING TUTORIAL GUIDE
STEP 1
Start with preparing your work space and gathering supplies. Next clean the piece of furniture with a cloth and mineral spirits.
STEP 2
Sand the table and all corners and edges then wipe down to remove any dust.
STEP 3
Next add a layer of the gray paint so you can create a distressed look.
STEP 4
After letting it dry then sanding, add petroleum jelly at various points to cover the paint for distressing.
STEP 5
Add a coat of white paint over the petroleum jelly and then sand and wipe off as directed.
STEP 6
Finish by applying gray and white wax and rubbing off any excess before letting it cure.
